Pray this out loud this week. Where you see a blank, say your own name, or the name of someone you love.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to You this week with ______ on my heart.
You know what this load weighs, because You have watched it being carried. You said, Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee. So I am setting it down here, at Your feet.
Where there is worry, give ______ Your peace. Where there is weariness, give rest. Where there is a decision to make, give wisdom, and the courage to follow it.
Remind ______ that You have called them by name, and that they are Yours. Let no one convince them they are forgotten.
Teach me to cast all my care upon You, for You care for me. And when I pick this load back up out of habit, gently take it from me again.
I thank You that I do not carry this by myself. I receive Your rest this week. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Whosoever. Always.
